Peter studied at Derby School of Art, then embarked on a career as a signwriter and screen printer for a major retail company, but has always painted privately for commissions and workshops.
He lives near Ashbourne in Derbyshire and works at speed to capture the moment in one session. This creates a freshness and vibrancy to his work.
Peter was voted Derbyshire Life’s Landscape Painter of the year in 2016.
